Mini Vinnies

Who are the Mini Vinnies?

The Society of St Vincent de Paul has, for many years, being engaged with ‘putting concern into action’. This extends into primary schools with Mini Vinnies.

As Mini Vinnies, the students have their own 'treasured' Prayer, Pledge and Badge, a dedicated website and a range of bright and colourful documents which guide them in their formative steps - helping and enabling them to become in every sense, young Vincentians - or 'Mini Vinnies'.

During normal times, Mini Vinnies’ at Endsleigh meet regularly and are supported by Mrs Holtby.

Our Mini Vinnies work hard to spread the Good News by putting faith and concern into action. Each week, our Mini Vinnies give us an Act of Kindness which everyone tries to follow. These acts of kindness, linked to the Gospel message, help to make our school a happy place.

Apart from helping with our charitable work, last year our Mini Vinnies attend Cottingham Hall Care Home where they have sung to the residents during October and in December. In December, they sang Christmas Carols at Holy Cross Church at a luncheon club. They are always very well-received and their visits are very much looked forward to.

They can't wait to be out in the community again bringing their special brand of joy and peace.
